There are two kinds of magic . The kind of wonder and the diaster kind. Ryxs was the second kind. Her father’s magic turned fields green while hers could accidentally kill someone. Entering the stables could be deadly to the horses.I really like the name Ryxander.It was a build up of suspense getting into the world building . I was interested in Lamiel and I liked her name. I thought Ryxander was intriguing.

Clay Armstrong is cute,just a few months older and wants a kiss. Clay is much taller than Trinity’s 5’8.Clay is friendlier then the other wardens. Wardens didn’t mix with humans. Wardens are warriors who protect humans and themselves from demons. Misha is Trinity’s protector. Trinity has a mystery power that is growing stronger I liked Trinity and Misha in the beginning. I really like the name Trinity. Trinity is tired of others paying for hersafety. Trinity is in the mountains of West Virginia. I liked that she was in the south. I didn’t think the tone was too childish. Trinity is stunned by Zayne when she sees him . I liked the chemistry between Trinity and zayne even though it’s not exactly easy and perfect ♥️

Suzanna Duff’s Mama died when she was ten years old. Suzannas dad manages the grief by drinking badly. She told little lies that they were okay.vshe wants to tell the truth for Annie. Suzanna is laying in the bed with Earl her fiance and decides to leave. She has a seven year old daughter anniem Ida is saying goodbye to her husband bill and Suzanna is mistaken for someone else. She does not correct the mistake.it was a little hard to believe Suzanna could pretend to be someone else for so long but still really good

Alice died at nineteen.Joe is being discharged from a psychiatric facility. Joe is twenty two years old. Joe had been at the facility for three months. Joe has a little sister Linda. Pearl has never met Joe but she has him discharged. He’s her grandson. Joe has been having bad dreams that feel real and sleep walking that’s why he was committed. I really liked joe and Kathleen. Pearl has made many mistakes but she’s easy to like. I loved the connection of what was going on with the dreams and real life.

It’s spring in North Carolina 1940 . The children head to the creek and come across a dead man. They wouldn’t tell because it would mean trouble,they are black and the dead man white. Then it goes to a Jail in North Carolina June 2018 . Morgan’s been in jail for two years for dui.She is to be set free if she restores a mural. Ann’s is the original artist. I liked going back and forth between Anna and Morgan. It was mystery what happened Anna,why never finished mural and why Jesse had the mural.

Avery is at a wedding. Then a man objects the wedding. The man is still in love with the bride. Avery has sisters named Taylor and Bella. Bella has a five year old. Avery is 32 and no soul mate in sight. Carter’s sister Ally is getting married .Avery use to be wild and Carter resented her. That doe not make her bad person or that she can’t change.

After the birth of his three sons bo continued to live on family ranch. Bo’s sons are Casey ,brand ,Jonah. One day six year old brand wakes up to a fire. A night brand will never forget. I was quickly interested in the story.I love the name brand ,very cowboy.somr think the fire and loss was revenge.Casey is a vet,jonah a writer and brand is a rancher.brand had a new physical therapist for his leg who is a beautiful woman. I thought brand was very stubborn. I liked Avery and thought she was smart.

A dive wreck is found and there are lies told that day. One of the dive customers are seasick. Tasias dad is behind bars. They find a old war world two vessel. I found some of the dive details boring but the action quickly starts.

The quiet if the ship is relaxing.soon they would dock in Victoria far away from her home. She is 21 and about to start her life over from being a social outcast. There would be less strict rules the colonies offer more freedom especially for women. George is crazy over Charlotte or so he acts and she’s told to steal some kisses before marriage. Charlotte doesn’t have a large dowry. Charlotte wants to be a vet assistant but is made to feel a fool for wanting to. It seems like the only option is to marry. Charlotte and George have a dispute that can alter her life. I liked Charlotte and felt for her worries about measuring up to other women. I thought she was a head strong woman in a good way. George was awful.

Luis is given forced time off from his job. He is a firefighter along with his brother Carlos. Luis is given the time off after an accident he recently worked on. One similar to the one that altered his life years ago. Luis pretends to be Sara’s fake boyfriend. I thought the fact that Luis is Cuban added extra flavour to the book.
