It’s summer time in Maine. Bonnie loves the summer time even when she had to spend it cleaning the family home. Bonnie is in her sixties and had gained weight. She isn’t into fashion. Bonnie is a widow.Bonnie plans to move after her husband’s death. Bonnie had been busy over the years being a care taker in many ways. Carol has sold her business. I really liked Bonnie from the beginning. Carol wants to take the family home from Bonnie. Bonnie’s niece is twenty five years old and wants to join the peace corps which I loved. Although Bonnie is a instant favorite I loved all the characters . I wondered why Bonnie and Carol didn’t make up and move into the family home and share the expenses. I really liked the words of wisdom that by Bonnie setting Carol up as the bad sister she sets herself up as the good perfect one.

The sea spit Alice out. When she comes to she sees a dog and a man speaking in Latin. There is a number on the back of Alice’s neck. Alice had been on a ship when it was attacked. I liked the dialogue and description of events. I liked the work Alice did with Jack. The number was on Alice’s neck because she was a nun in Africa.

Anne has a daughter Katy. Anne’s life is shattered and she’s getting a divorce. Katy got a yellow jeep for her sixteenth birthday.Annes husband Richard has a new woman she hates Lauren. Anne had taken care of the house and family while Richard had a law career. Anne feels betrayed now. I liked Anne from beginning. I liked the multiple points of view. Anne’s contractor Dan use to be a crush. I liked that Anne and Katy both love art. I liked that the tough subject of Katy’s anxiety was explored. I loved reading about the past and Billy.

Serena remembers being at her cousins wedding in Maryland. She use to work as a legislative assistant in New York. Serena is confused and believes she has died. She recently met a hot firefighter Oliver. Serena has the time of her life at the wedding. When Serena wakes from a coma she is married and has two kids Mason and Cam. Oliver came to Serena’s hotel room when they first met but he was a gentleman. It was love from the beginning. I loved reading about Serena adjusting to her home life again after being awake. I liked that Serena was taking a quilting class . I didn’t like thatOliver was jealous of Serena’s memories. I liked the unknowns of Serena’s life. It was frustrating what Serena and Oliver was going through but realistic.

Ryan was young when her sister got engaged to Bryce. Ryan is part of a crime pod cast. Ryan’s father has heart problems. I kinda like the name Ryan for a girl.Wendy is a navy wife and Ryan’s role model. Wendy is suspected of murder and wants Ryan to watch the kids. I thought Ryan’s nieces could be brats. I didn’t like that Ryan referred to Wendy as a single mother. I know military spouses are away alot but it’s different from being a single parent. It’s disrespectful to the military spouse to refer to it that way. I liked the mystery of what was going to happen to Wendy and her family. I thought some parts were slow

It’s August 2017 at Chesapeake Bay in Virginia. Adele Jessup is almost one hundred years old and has learned alot about blessings and courses.Adeles great grandson Scott has died in a marine helicopter crash.Scott was twenty seven when he died.Adele can see and talk to Scotts spirit. Scott had been engaged to Megan. Not long after Scotts death Megan is pregnant. It’s questioned whether Scott is the father. I loved Megan’s passion and knowledge for history. I loved the characters. I loved going back in time and reading about Diane.

Tiggy is interviewing Dr chaie Kinnard . Charlie is very scientific based as a doctor and doesn’t rely on faith. Charlie needs someone to look after some wildlife on many acres. I loved that animals was a big part of Tiggys life. I loved Tiggy. I loved the older gentleman Chilly and how interacted with Tiggy and spoke of magic.i loved reading about the history and how it connected to Tiggy and the present. I loved the interesting names.

Cathy is leaving her husband Blaine. Blaine is very rich and abusive. Cathy hikes until she reaches blessings Georgia. I thought it was a little reckless for Cathy to run by herself when she has an absuive ex. Cathy meets a handsome man Duke when she’s in trouble. Duke is an interesting name but it’s a nickname. I liked the small town characters. I thought Duke was very sweet. I liked the action with the thieves and the abusive ex. I liked the romance between Duke and Cathy I liked the ending.

Carissa and drew have become very close. Carissa’s baking e was a hit. Knox lost a woman y meant a lot to him in Iraq. The next segment is Stella’s car shop. I thought Stella cod be tough and fair but annoying sometimes. Stella and Knox could be frustrating but I did enjoy their story.

Carissa does not want to face Ms boyfriend stealing Jackie.i know the feeling. She lives in sugar maple Tennessee. Carissa is working with a group to help better the town. A mentor is trying to mend friendships. Carissa meets a handsome man Drew.it was a little confusing who Knox was and how related job and what intended at first. I love the name Knox. I love that Carissa owns a bakery. I loved that Drew use to be a soldier. I grew to like Drew and liked the ending
